Rancho Bernardo, Poway, Scripps Ranch and Carmel Valley are all communities adjacent to the I-15 North County corridor in San Diego County. They all lie between 20 -30 miles of downtown San Diego. They are all bedroom community suburbs for business people who work in the San Diego County area. Correction, Rancho Bernardo is one of the few communities in San Diego which has some Active Adult Retirement Communities. So, those people are blessed just to relax and enjoy our lifestyle. We cover Del Mar because it's on the coast and we love to show it off.
All of these communities offer homes in the middle to luxury price ranges. The style of homes varies dramatically to please just about every taste. If your interested in a view home, we've got them to show you. If you're a sportman who enjoys tennis, we have tennis cout homes. If you're a golfer, we have many golf courses whose fairways are lined with beautiful homes. We also have many equestrian homes. Or if you're a low maintenance type, we have condos on the golf course, with views or next to the mall.
As you can imagine from our location in Southern California, the weather and access to the coast are the big draw. From Rancho Bernardo and Poway, you can have the family on the beach from your home within 15 minutes. A short drive across the SR-56 freeway and you can be enjoying the surf in Del Mar or on Torrey Pines State Beach. In my opinion, our weather is even nicer than at the beach. Often the beach has the marine layer - which is clouds, but in Rancho Bernardo and Poway, it will almost always be sunny and warmer.
One more thing you should know about Rancho Bernardo, Poway and Scripps Ranch, they are all a part of the Poway Unified School District which has excellent educational credientials. So, if you still have children whom you wish to see get well educated but in a public school environment, you'll definitely want to check our area out.
